In 2002, ARVI designed and built a robot quite different from its M-10. This robot, the LL-1, was created at the request of a French robotics company to demonstrate the suitability of ARVI technology for a vehicle to carry a very large washing tool to clean the I. M. Pei designed Grande Pyramide at the Louvre. The LL-1, which weighs twenty pounds, demonstrated the ability to carry a fifty pound payload up the steeply sloping and rain-slickened sides of the Pyramide. The success of this prototype led to a contract under which ARVI has supplied the key components for the robot now in use cleaning the Grande Pyramide.

ARVI holds two U.S. and one European patent, and has a U.S. and foreign patent pending on its latest technology.
